Upcoming Henry Cavill Movies
Zack Snyder’s Justice League – TBA 2021
After a loud and persistent rallying signal of online help, Zack Synder’s Justice League, often identified as “The Synder Cut,” is coming to HBO Max. The much-discussed director’s cut/borderline remake of this ill-fated DC team-up film was the result of blunt fans vocally confused by Joss Whedon’s marred version of the 2017 blockbuster after a late production/post-production takeover.
The last produce barely follows what Synder envisioned for the high-profile project, notably after he moved the project following a family tragedy. Following months and years of pleads from online areas, WB finally allowed to let Synder complete his movie as he intended it. Whether it was worth the while order be determined sometime this year.
When Justice League is supposed to hit the streaming service is still given unclear, but Henry Cavill and the rest of the characters recently joined in reshoots for this updated version of Justice League… which is now set to air as a mini-series. As always, you can get out the latest of this expanded, expansive redo best here at CinemaBlend.
The Witcher Season 2 – TBA 2021
Based on the fiction book series of the equal name by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix’s The Witcher was meant to be a huge sprawl of a story, and there did little doubt that the program is expected to extend into some seasons, at least. Sure full, even ere the first season debuted, this streaming series was now getting to work on the second season. But the process of fixing this latest season together has shown to be very cumbersome.
Initially, production on Season 2 started in London in early 2020, with orders to deliver it in 2021. But in March, the reproduction was shut down, like many others, due to this COVID-19 pandemic. Eventually, filming resumed in August, but when the team had to work around the UK’s security lockdowns by relocating the stock. Production was then shut down again when select team members tested positive for COVID-19. If that weren’t tough enough, The Witcher’s production was shut down again in December at Henry Cavill sustained a leg injury.
Suffice to say, The Witcher has become a hell of a time getting Season 2 available for its debut. And it’s hard to understand if the series will be ready the year given all the delays it has procured. But Henry Cavill and that rest of the team after The Witcher are certainly working hard to get it ready to stream as quickly (and hopefully safely) as possible.
Upcoming Superman Project – TBA
Turns out, Zack Snyder’s Justice League might not be that last time we see Henry Cavill sporting the red and blue super-suit. While it has been published that Man of Steel 2 isn’t likely to come together, it was revealed in May 2020 that Cavill is signed on to reprise the part of Superman in an upcoming project.
Granted, this could’ve done the paperwork for The Synder Cut being spilt out into the media, but it looks like it’s meant to be for another, possibly undetermined project altogether. Whether that’s a starring part or simply a cameo in different DCEU composition won’t be clear for at least some more months now. But for Superman followers, it’s comforting to know that Henry Cavill isn’t planning to hang up that Superman tights yet.
